Creating a sample is a necessary step in preparing for manufacturing. With a sample you are able to test the fit of your garment, the shape, the way your fabrics drape etc. After we create a sample we send it back to our clients for them to assess what changes need to be made. This process can require multiple samples and in the end you are left with a garment or product that is made specifically to suit your specifications.
Step one: Fabric Sourcing
There are hundreds of thousands of fabrics, suitable for different types of designs and clothes, cotton, linen, denim, corduroy, satin, silk, chiffon, frency terry, polar fleece, modal ..... Our first step of sample making is to define with you the best fabric for your design, including content, weight, color etc.
You need to provide the basic measurement of your design for just one size and rest we do which also attested by the size set samples at the time of production. We are able to work from either a prototype or an illustration to craft hand drawn production ready patterns. These are a must before any of our designers are able to go to production.
Understanding the importance of sampling and prototyping, we have an in-house sampling team. We do all kinds of sampling / prototyping and takes your approval before we begin the production.
In case your design requires any kinds of smocking, sequins, beads or crystal works we can always work precisely matching your custom design.
Trims could be threads, buttons, lining, beads, zippers, motifs, patches etc even in the sample making!
Our quality team remains active right at the time of sourcing of fabric till the final packing of finished garments. At every critical stage, Kingwo ensures that the quality is under control and as per the approval we have by you.
